This artwork was born from a meditation vision about the energy of forgiveness.

During a deep meditation, I saw myself dissolving into the sand on the shore. My body and identity became countless grains of sand, each grain representing a memory, an emotion, or a fragment of experience. Though each particle was separate, they were still part of the same whole.

The waves of the ocean slowly gathered these grains and carried them into the water. Inside the ocean, every small piece of me was embraced by a gentle current and filled with the energy of forgiveness. In that moment I understood that forgiveness is not about erasing the past. It is about allowing every part of ourselves to be washed by compassion, acceptance, and release.

In the artwork, the meditating figure sits peacefully between land and ocean, the place where transformation happens. The textured sand, created with real sand and seashells, represents the memories and stories we carry. The waves symbolize the healing movement of life that continuously returns to soften, cleanse, and renew.

Forgiveness here becomes a quiet alchemy. What once felt heavy and fragmented slowly dissolves into unity, allowing the heart to return to stillness.
